italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies Dear all,

I have a quick question regarding the presence of a mirror as a stage property in Italian drama of the Renaissance. I have been writing my research on mirrors in Jacobean city comedy and tragedy where mirror appears mostly as a symbol of vanity and a tool for self-embellishment, and I was wondering about the trope on the Italian stage. Could anyone recall encountering a mirror in any play of the period?

Thank you very much for your kind help and I look forward to the responses.
