We haven’t had anything yet other than a spreadsheet telling us which learners were affected and to track returned certificates (ours have all gone out already). Our Business Advisor said we would be getting a visit to apologise but its really the students who need apologising to. I would at least expect a letter which we could pass on explaining the error on C&G’s behalf.
We’re missing quite a few results from February exams and our Business Advisor said this was because they were withholding results due to the error, but this wasn’t communicated to us. Plus as these results should have been with us in March, how long have they known about this error before Friday’s letter?

Hi All,
What support are you receiving from C&G to rectify this problem? We seem to be having communication from our Business Advisor but we haven’t yet received the “toolkit” that is supposed to help us. Our main concern is that we now have a lot of students to get in for a re-sit in May and then potentially if they need another re-sit there won’t be time before the end of term.
We also have a large amount of students who haven’t yet received a FS result, some of these students sat the exam in February, is anyone else in this position?
Many Thanks
Rachel

We had certificates for ICT and have issued them to students. I can’t see students giving them back easily.

Mandy's advice is spot on - check Walled-Garden. However, C&G's default position is always "return the certificates" regardless of whether any have been issued so I wouldn't be surprised if none have.

Dear All
I am beginning to lose my mind, with regard to City and Guilds FS error, we wouldn't have had certificates for just individual components would we?
The lecturers and Senior Managers are hassling me over getting the certificates back as mentioned in the email from City and Guilds but surely we wouldn't have had any or have I indeed lost my mind!
