We are seeking to appoint a non-clinical Lecturer in Postgraduate Clinical Education. Principally you will work in conjunction with clinical and academic colleagues on the design, development, University approval and delivery of modular Masters Programmes that are aligned with the Dental School. You will also be expected to contribute directly to clinical education in one or more of the disciplinary areas of postgraduate education and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices. Excellence in supporting students’ learning experience will be welcomed.

You will hold a postgraduate qualification in an area relevant to medicine, dentistry, healthcare or education, with Member/Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (or able to achieve within 12 months of appointment).  A postgraduate qualification in education/teaching and learning would be desirable.

This will be a Plymouth University appointment based at the Tamar Science Park at Derriford in Plymouth. 

Salary will be based on the academic salary scale 7/8 £31,020 - £44,166 (pro rata if applicable) dependent on skills and experience. Full time applicants are preferred, although there is the potential for flexible/part-time working for an appropriate candidate. Previous applicants need not re-apply.
