Dear All,

I will be very grateful for any information and responses relating to the following;

1. What is the current internationally acceptable practice regarding granting special minimum admission requirements for prospective students with disability?

2. Is is appropriate that a disabled people organization  advocate for quota admission of prospective students even where we do not have the most minimum or basic requirements partly due to disability?

3. Any special cases of such policies from universities in other countries?

4. In a developing country where facilities and technological assistive devices and sign language interpreters are not adequately accessible to the deaf students at both basic and high school level, are we justified to demand quota admission to public/private universities in cases where we are not able to meet the minimum requirements due to our disability or hearing impairment.

Hope to get your response soon.

Best regards

Emmanuel Sackey
