Jane Campbell deals very eloquently with these issues, especially the
'slippery slope' argument and the 'myth' that euthanasia is an acceptable
choice for some Disabled People, in her presentation archived on the Leeds
website here
http://www.leeds.ac.uk/disability-studies/archiveuk/Campbell/Leeds%20Uni%201
5%20Nov%202006.pdf

I find Jane's presentation particularly pertinent and persuasive not least
because it tackles head-on an attempt made in that year by Lord Joffe, a fan
of assisted suicide, to get a regulatory framework established for it in the
UK. Fortunately Jane and others campaigning inside and outside Parliament
defeated him.
