INVITATION
TO CONFERENCE

Dear madam/sir,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the international conference UNIVERSAL LEARNING DESIGN, organized by Masaryk University in collaboration with Johannes Kepler University, which will be held as an independent special track of the 13th ICCHP conference in Linz on 11–13 July 2012.

The UNIVERSAL LEARNING DESIGN 2012 conference in Linz will present another opportunity to share experience with professionals who take care of the practical matters and thus technologically, organizationally, legally, linguistically, psychologically or pedagogically provide for the universal learning design at universities and, due to the inclusion into the organizational frame of ICCHP, also with developers and distributors of technologies necessary for meeting this goal.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Linz.

On behalf of the conference organizing committee,
Petr Peňáz, Support Centre for Students with Special Needs
Klaus Miesenberger, Institut Integriert Studieren in Linz

The ICCHP Summer University is a series of workshops which was initiated as a pre-conference event at ICCHP and which is now held every year - at ICCHP in even years, as an independent event at changing locations in odd years.

In 2012, due to the success of the previous events in 2010 (ICCHP in Vienna) and 2011 (Telc, Czech Republic, organised by Teiresias Centre, Masaryk University), the "SU" will be organised together with ICCHP and ULD, allowing participants to benefit from selected sessions of the main conference.

The ICCHP SU is designed for blind and visually impaired students at university level who want to get to know latest technologies and methodologies to assist them in dealing with mathematical, scientific, and statistical contents. It also gives their teachers an opportunity to explore these technologies and exchange hands-on experience.
