By coincidence I saw some material on boardwalks on SATIN only recently: www.satinonline.org

(The Scottish Access Technical Information Network = SATIN))

Hi
Has anybody done this sort of thing recently?  Any idea on costs and practicalities of construction (in a protected area).  I have seen these on single track MTB routes but would be looking to do something wider (circa 3.0m) to enable access for family groups and pedestrians across a flat area that is prone to regular flooding.  If you have one in your area it may also help us to reassure the client if you have any details about levels of use etc.

Thanks
