When Movies were Movies

If any of you live, or have students who live, within striking distance of the Rose & Crown in Hoe St, Walthamstow, (last stop on the VIctoria Line) there's an easy introduction to  aspects of cinema history in a lovely little show that's playing in the theatre there. Called WHen Movies were Movies, it's tells the story of cinema-going from 1930s to 1960s, illustrated through song, dance, sketch and dialogue. It's on every night this week at 7.30, finishing Friday 4th May. See www.allstarproductions.co.uk for more details
