Dear Colleagues

I would be grateful if anyone has experience of managing sickness absence in staff who have a condition recognised under the disability act.  Specifically I would be keen to hear whether in your Trust sickness absence due to the disability is managed in the same way as other sickness absence (once of course “reasonable adjustment” has been made).  If anyone is willing to share their Trust’s sickness absence and disability policies please can you forward to me?

Please contact me if you require more details before sending?

Lesley
