Fyddai rhywbeth fel ‘trawsddybio’ yn gwneud y tro?

 

 

Yn y dyddiau cynnar dwi’n meddwl bod traciau’n arfer cael eu recordio ar 2 sianel o’r nail sianel i’r llall ‘ar ben eu gilydd’ mewn ffordd. Yna daeth peiriannau efo mwy o draciau – 4 trac, 8 trac ac yn y blaen

 

 

O ran diddordeb, pam mae'r peth yn cael ei alw'n 'over' dub yn Saesneg os nad yw'n golygu 'tros'?

 

 

A fyddai rhyw amrywiad ar y gair ‘dybio’ yn gwneud y tro?

Mae ‘tros-seinio’ yn gynnig campus ond ydi o’n cyfleu ‘overdub’? Mae’n swnio’n debycach i wneud sŵn ar ben sŵn yn hytrach na recordio traciau.

 

Ystyr ‘tros-leisio’ yw dybio lleisiau ar gyfer ffilm neu raglen deledu, ynde, ond teimlaf fod ‘overdub’ yn wahanol beth. Hynny yw, nid dybio rhywbeth yn lle rhywbeth arall a wneir ond gosod traciau ochr yn ochr.
