Dear All,

From 'In Brief' in today's Daily Telegraph -

Kipling's crocodile
A well-preserved crocodile skull has been declared
as belonging to a new species. The 130million-year
-old specimen has been named Goniopholis Kiplini
after Rudyard Kipling in recognition of the writer's
enthusiasm for natural sciences. The skull, dating
back to the early Cretaceous period, was discovered
in Swanage three years ago and is now in the Dorset
County Museum.

Best wishes to all,

Roger Ayers
