 *   Develops new web services for HM Nautical Almanac Office
 *   Creates software from detailed scientific material
 *   Produces and checks data for almanacs and web-based publications

As an agency of the MoD and a world-leading supplier of navigational 
charts and publications, we are at the forefront of hydrographic digital 
product development and services to the worldwide maritime community. We 
need a Senior Analyst Web Programmer to work as part of a small technical 
team at UKHO.

 *   Excellent working knowledge of Object Orientated programming, 
     Javascript, Linux and HTML/CSS
 *   Educated to degree level in a related scientific discipline with 
     a strong mathematical mind
 *   Experience of providing web services and dynamic data online.

This is a Ministry of Defence non-reserved post and is therefore open to UK, 
British Commonwealth and European Economic Area nationals. Successful 
applicants will require security clearance; you will therefore need to have 
resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
