Hi Andrew - thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I've tried doing that (pasting into notepad and then into Word) and it doesn't work for us. The links do seem to work OK in our VLE though. Another thing I've tried is changing the settings in Word for web linking so links aren't updated on save (this means they are absolute rather than relative, I think) - but this didn't work either! I did wonder if it was related to authentication in any way - we use Athens to authenticate, so I don't know if the problem exists with other authentication methods? Title or chapter level URL links for DawsonEra will work fine if pasted directly into the browser address bar or from a pdf or an email, but in a Word document they go to the DawsonEra home page rather than the specific resource.
