Subject: Useful article in BMJ on the impact of health literacy

Hi Kim,

Not sure if you've seen this paper<http://www.bmj.com/highwire/filestream/573765/field_highwire_article_pdf/0.pdf> in the latest BMJ , basically shows how having low health literacy has an adverse effect on health outcomes.

Thought it might be a useful bit of evidence if you need to justify/show where NHS libraries (and their specialist knowledge and skills) can/are making an important contribution to health and wellbeing?

All the best,

Paul
