Other will be able to advise but I think some of this info was collected a while ago, I'm sure someone will know where it is

Janette

Dear LDHEN,

My name is Dickson Telfer; I’m an Effective Learning Tutor at the Hamilton campus of University of the West of Scotland and have just recently joined the LDHEN mailing list.  At UWS, Effective Learning will soon be going through an internal review process and our team members are currently gathering together the relevant info we feel we’ll need.  For benchmarking purposes, and if you have the time to do so, it’d be helpful for us if you could answer the questions below regarding how Effective Learning is structured in your institution.  No obligation, but it would help us see where we sit in relation to universities south of the border.

1.       Where is Effective Learning located in your institution?  Within a faculty?  A school?  Student Services?  CAPD?  Other?

2.       What contract status do Effective Learning Advisers/Tutors have?  Academic?  Support?

3.       How many people are there in the Effective Learning Team?

4.       How many students does the team (or individual) serve?

5.       Does your remit include working with staff as well as students?

6.       Does your institution have more than one campus?  If yes, how many?

Thanks in advance.

Dickson.
