The University Administration and Services Access Management Project is a strategic project within the University to investigate and provide solutions to integrate enterprise applications with the University's central identity and access management services. The post-holders will work alongside the technical teams responsible for providing the authentication and authorisation services and University administration systems (e.g. financials, student records, business intelligence). The ideal candidate will have experience of systems development and integration for both Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms. We are particularly seeking applicants with a good understanding of authentication and authorisation protocols and standards (e.g. Kerberos, SAML, LDAP), including those supported by Active Directory. Familiarity with IT systems design, implementation, and management in a service environment is also required.
