Basic salary around £35,000 plus target-friendly commission plan
Location-East Anglia

I am keen to hear from ambitious, enthusiastic, business-minded individuals who have gained a qualification in GIS or related technology and have then gone on to work in a selling role for a year or more.  This could be telesales or field sales.  I can offer you this excellent opportunity to make an intelligent career move into professional sales within the geospatial industry.

This is not a hard sell but even so you need to be organised and persuasive with the ability to enthuse potential customers about integrating digital imagery products within their business model.  You’ll be working via phone, email, face to face meetings, seminars and trade shows with the clear aim of building a healthy pipeline of new business.

The client’s products are both versatile and competitive so they are enjoying sales success in several market sectors including property, mobile data services, emergency services and environmental.  You do not need to have experience in any of these domains; all that you need to qualify is a geoinformation background and sales experience.

In return for your hard work and energy, the client will provide full product training and the support of a strong technical and professional services team to give you every chance of achieving your personal success.

If you feel your profile matches this vacancy then please submit a copy of your CV in Word format to Alan Carnell-Geospatial Recruitment Expert with Concurrent Appointments.  My email address is [log in to unmask].  You have my word that your application will be treated in the strictest of confidence and none of my clients will be made aware of your details without your prior agreement.

YOU ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HOLD A PASSPORT FROM AN EU COUNTRY OR YOU POSSESS A VALID UK WORK VISA.  CVs THAT FAIL TO CLEARLY SHOW HOW YOU QUALIFY FOR PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
