Dear All,
I’m looking for a bit of assistance. Does anyone know of an example of ore mineralisation within a fault zone, where a vein system has been emplaced along a fault and then subsequently deformed by brittle processes into fault bound lenses, breccia, gouge etc.. so that the principal ore consists of the fault products? I am particularly interested in examples exploited by underground selective mining methods and, even better, anything that is a current producing mine. The commodity isn’t especially important, although I’m interested from a precious metals perspective.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Chris
