Hello All, We're looking for Welcomers and Visitor Service Volunteers to join our Visitor Services Department at The Bishops Palace, Wells. The Bishops Palace dates from the early 13th Century, has 14 acres of beautiful gardens and is in the heart of the city of Wells, Somerset. Home to the Bishops of Bath and Wells for 800 years, we re-opened to the public in February 2012 with a new restaurant, shop, learning room and new areas open in the garden. We are looking forward to a year of continued transformation, that improves visitor experience and develops a sustainable future for the palace. This is an exciting time to volunteer at The Bishops Palace and we would love you to be a part of this! As a volunteer we will offer you -10% discount in the Palace Shop, Free entry and 10 half price tickets for friends and family each year, Volunteer Kitchen, training and development, Social events, support from the Assistant Visitor Services Manager and Volunteer Co-ordinator, Volunteer newsletter and Online booking for rotas.
