It’s that time of the year again!

 

12-20 May is Adult Learners’ Week when there will be thousands of free events around the UK, all designed to engage adults in returning to their lifelong learning journeys.

 

Can I ask you all to consider putting an event on? If it’s too late to be organising public events how about putting something on for your colleagues during Learning@Work Day (17 May). Good idea can be gleaned from here: http://www.campaign-for-learning.org.uk/cfl/workplacelearning/lawday/index.asp . L@W Day in England is run by the Campaign for Learning and this is their website. If you are in Wales please do still look at their website for ideas but go to mine for the Wales branding: www.niacedc.org.uk . Colleagues in Scotland check with SALP and colleagues in Northern Ireland check with EGSA.

 

Right, I’m off to panic-buy Easter eggs. I heard a rumour that within a couple of weeks there won’t be any in the shops!
