One of the exams assistants here held on the phone for 20 minutes and eventually got to speak to someone at City and Guilds, they were very evasive as to how long it would take them to fix it but said it would be at least 2 hours. From past experience that probably translates to all day.

It is so frustrating as we had a huge number of tests booked for today, I just wish that the powers that be here and at other Colleges ditched City and Guilds completely.

We have another set of hairdressers at Midday as well.  I guess we can all guess why this happens at the end of term.  It is just so frustrating.

 

Not a good day for the team generally – 84 beauticians doing several re-sits in the Hall – I’m thinking of doing the Door Supervisors Physical Intervention practical at the same time in future because it definitely felt like a Saturday night at one stage.
