Dear all,
Based
on the success of Bahamdan's Chair in publishing more than 25 Cochrane
and non-Cochrane systematic reviews, it gives me great pleasure to
announce that the Extended Systematic Review Course will be launched on April 18, 2012 at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Don't miss the opportunity. It is time to conduct your own (and may be, first) systematic review. The course is composed of 10 days which will be spread over a year. The poster and course description are attached. Further details are posted on the Chair's website.
It may be worthwhile highlighting certain points that might be of interest to you at this stage:
- Half
the fees will be returned back to you upon the completion of the
systematic review. The aim of this is to ensure the participants'
commitment.
- The first few sessions will be
delivered by the Chair's staff but as we go further towards the final
stages of the course distinguished national and international speakers
will join in the course delivery. Rest assured that the course will
maintain its high standards all throughout.
- Days
7-10 of the course are assigned to be on Wednesdays but if the majority
of those signed up prefer Thursdays we will be flexible with that.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any clarification is needed. If you can not make it this year, then please spread the news among your contacts who might be interested. Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,
Lubna
On behalf of the organizers/speakers of this course: Yaser Adi, Ghada Bawazeer, Hayfaa Wahbi, Khalid Al-Faleh and myself.
