Lecturer in Cultural & Historical Geography (Fixed-term)

Salary : £32,901 to £38,140 per annum, depending on skills and experience
This full-time post will be offered on a fixed-term contract from 1st September 2012 until 31st August 2015. This post is open to job share.
Applications are invited for the above post based at the School of Geography, which is a replacement for a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship.

The successful candidate will be expected to: add to the School's research culture, being research active with a demonstrated record of peer-reviewed research outputs; contribute to teaching at all levels within the School; supervise final year undergraduate projects and postgraduate students; act as a personal tutor; and undertake a range of administrative duties to support the operation of the School.
Candidates must have a PhD in the field of Cultural and/or Historical Geography and experience of university teaching and assessment in relevant subjects at Higher Education level.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Friday 11th May.
