This is a really important point I think. Just as we discussed yesterday that not everyone is on Twitter, not everyone will necessarily use a catalogue - some will just browse. And of those that do use the catalogue fewer still will want to take the time to tag books. The comments/tags would need moderating, but they might also add a slant to the catalogue which is not true of the majority of users.
