I haven't been to a conference yet so don't know much about the etiquette of tweeting at the conference. However as someone who is trying to keep up to date reading the tweets of others at conferences or talk I'm interested in is invaluable. Jill -----Original Message----- From: CIG E-Forum [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Taylor, Wendy Sent: 28 March 2012 12:52 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: conferences and events How do people feel about Twitter and conferences? I know some find it incredibly annoying that people spend the whole time on their phones. Can you tweet and listen at the same time? How useful do you find it to follow tweets from a conference you aren't attending - is it a valid substitute for being there in person? Which conferences/events have you followed and what was the experience like?
