I wonder if I might harness your collective brain-power, please?  I'm trying to finalise a couple of footnotes for an article about BBC transcriptions in Australia.  I've got a couple of acronyms for BBC posts, and I was wondering if anyone could help me in terms of revealing what these stand for, and who the post-holder was at the time:

 

1) BRM - April 1934

2) DOPS - May 1943
