Applications are invited for a UK Energy Research Centre funded position in a project concerned with energy efficient home renovations in the context of a government initiative called the Green Deal.
The project aims to understand the drivers, motivations, influences, meanings and outcomes of the decisions made by homeowners to renovate energy efficiently.
This post primarily entails designing a quantitative survey and a discrete choice experiment on individuals' decision-making and behaviours, psychological/other antecedents; model; quantitatively analyse and report.
Candidates must have a PhD (or equivalent) in statistics, economics, mathematical psychology, consumer behaviour, marketing or management science or other related disciplines and fulfil all the essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
The post is available from 1 May 2012 on a full-time basis, fixed term for up to 13.5 months.
