Reader/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Statistics and Probability The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University has a vacancy for a Reader/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Probability and Statistics. You will have an excellent research record in an area of Probability as appropriate for the level for which you apply; preference may be given to candidates whose research areas are compatible with existing interests of the Probability Group. You will be expected to make a substantial commitment to the research activities of the Statistics & Probability Group, and to undertake teaching and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department of Mathematical Sciences. For appointment as Reader, candidates must have a substantial record of excellent publications at internationally leading level, experience with postgraduate supervision and substantial teaching experience at University level, and a record of successful generation of external funding for research projects is highly desirable. For appointment as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, candidates need to provide evidence of relevant teaching experience at University level and a significant record of publications at international level, with level of appointment being dependent on these.
