Hi, yes its quite useful for keeping track of all your pdfs with strange names that you cant find on your drive! not always very clever at importing citation to match, old papers you often have to write in the details yourself, can also be used to insert bibliographies into Word etc but is a bit tricky sometimes and doesnt have any of 'our' formats built in - though you can adapt.  I just use it to keep track and then copy paste adjust.  All in all quite useful - especially as its free!

Dear All,

I have just come across some free referencing software on the internet and wondered if there is anyone out there that has used it before and has any comment to make on it.

The software is Mendeley and appears to compare favourably to EndNote (according to their own website).

If anyone has any experience of this software I would be interested to know your opinion of it.

Many thanks,

Julia
