Hi Steve,

I note that there was the following email sent to LCG-ROLLOUT on the 30th of Jan:

QUOTE STARTS
Hi All...

I've noticed that the central LFC catalogue hosted at CERN is publishing information as LFCLocal.

   $ lcg-infosites --vo ops lfc
   $

   $ lcg-infosites --vo ops lfcLocal | grep prod-lfc-shared-central.cern.ch
   prod-lfc-shared-central.cern.ch

Same thing happen to LHC VOs...

Is this normal?

Cheers
Goncalo
QUOTE ENDS

This would, indeed, probably make the information system query for "lfc" break for dteam as well.

Hi,

For the record: I upgraded our DPM server yesterday, necessitating a test using lcg-cr.
It didn't work, because no default LFC could be determined (lcg-infosites --vo dteam lfc gave
nothing back). When specifying an LFC, things worked well:

LFC_HOST=lfc.gridpp.rl.ac.uk  lcg-cr --vo dteam  /etc/hosts -d hepgrid11.ph.liv.ac.uk
guid:7cb52c0f-dfd2-45c2-b82a-a06b4bef1904

This is a Change - there was no need to specify LFC_HOST in bygone times. I
haven't got time to look at this, right now, but Something has happened.

Hi all,
t2k.org members can't seem to create proxies, access the LFC or communicate with WMSs...
