Principal Duties: 

The Waisman Laboratory for Brain Imaging and Behavior is a state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary facility dedicated to affective and cognitive neuroscience research with brain imaging. The laboratory includes a 3.0T MRI scanner (GE X750) devoted exclusively to neuroscience research. The lab currently provides imaging services to several faculty with expertise in neuroscience, psychology, child development, geriatrics, kinesiology, physics, and statistics.

This position will be responsible for providing expertise to the brain imaging community in the application of fMRI techniques, particularly in the areas of design and analysis. This will involve researching and evaluating fMRI techniques, consulting and training in fMRI methods for the Brain Imaging Core and affiliated users. In addition, the individual in this position is expected to develop an independent research program.
