Hi Ellen
Our PG Cert is In-Service. We do offer a component of this as First Steps Into Teaching, which is Pre-Service, aimed at e.g. PhD students who will be taking up Teaching duties in the near future. Currently First Syeps is un-accredited (we issue an attendance certificate) but we are working on getting it accredited at 50 hours or 5 CATS points.
While a PreService PGCert might be validated by a University it is unlikely that the HEA would accredit a pre-service PGCert as meeting HEA Fellowship requirements (or at least I would hope they didn't!)

Hello Colleagues

I wonder if anyone on the list works in or knows of an institution that offers a PG Cert in Learning and Teaching in HE for students who are not yet working as lecturers?

Many thanks, Ellen Sims
