Dear Psci-Commers,

I would like to invite you all to Imperial College's first ever TEDx Conference which will take place on March 24th, from 2pm to 7pm in the Great Hall, Imperial College, London.
The conference is entitled 'The Great Exhibition' and will be a celebration of science, design and innovation, and their impact on the human experience.

The conference will host a diverse and fascinating array of speakers from South Kensington's many academic institutions, museums and galleries. Here is just a short selection of the speakers announced so far.
Dr Aldo Faisal - whose innovative research combines cross-disciplinary computational and experimental approaches to investigate how the brain makes decisions, learns and controls movements.
Dr Mannel Torres - the developer behind Fabrican, the instant spray-on fabric from an aerosol can, that bridges the gap between science and fashion.
Prof. Maja Pantic - one of the world’s leading experts in machine recognition of human behaviour.

More speakers will be announced over the coming weeks, so keep an eye on our website tedximperialcollege.com. Or, follow us on twitter @TEDxIC.

To apply for tickets you must first complete a non-binding registration, which can be accessed here: tedximperialcollege.com/registration.
Registration closes on 1st March at 7pm. Ticketing will open at a later date but will only be available to those who have registered beforehand . Tickets cost £25.

We hope to see you there,

Vanna Barber,

TEDx Imperial College Marketing.
