Hello,

I'm trying to find some information about the removal, or re-working for fluorspar, of the tips at Boltsburn Mine, Weardale. The work was probably done by the Weardale Lead Co. (then owned by ICI) in the 1970's. If anyone might know a good place to find any records, plans or information I'd appreciate it. A trawl of the usual sources and the internet has not turned up much specifically about this era of the mine's working life.

Thank you.

Clare Henderson
