We are looking at reviewing the number of holds a user can have at any one time. We would appreciate any information on the following so we can get a feel of what other institutions are doing? 1. How do most of your users place holds - e.g. via the web catalogue interface/at the service desk etc. 2. How many holds can they have at any one time? 3. How do you notify them that holds are available? 4. How long do you hold them awaiting collection? 5. Where do you hold them whilst awaiting collection - e.g. in an open access area/behind the service desk? Thanks.
