It is not a problem.  By default the VOMS client asks for 12 hours and
the server does not reduce the lifetime to that of the proxy (I think
it should do that).  The proxy renewal daemon looks at both lifetimes to
decide when to renew the proxy (it used to check only the proxy lifetime).
