Dear all

I am a clinical psychology trainee currently undertaking my thesis looking at how cognitive factors relate to psychological wellbeing of parents and carers of children with profound and multiple intellectual disability. I have University ethics clearance and am in the process of recruitment via schools, charities, parent organisations and social media websites such as Twitter as I chose to avoid NHS ethics and recruiting via that route.

I would be very grateful if you could pass on information about my study to any parents of children with PMID that you know or relevant organisations.

The study is questionnaire based and all data is anonymous. Questionnaires can be completed online at https://www.survey.ed.ac.uk/parentcarerwellbeing and take around 20-30 minutes to complete.

If anyone has any tips on how to access this group of parents, they would also be gratefully received.

Many thanks,
Fleur-Michelle
