With apologies for cross posting, but the closing date for applications is relatively soon!:

An exciting new MSt in Historic Environment is being offered by the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education. This unique new postgraduate degree successfully connects archaeological theory and research with modern policy and practice in the management and conservation of landscapes, parks and gardens to provide a robust and applied qualification in the historic environment sector. It will provide a two-year, part-time route to a full University of Cambridge Master’s degree.

Providing essential knowledge and practical skills for current issues, this hands-on course is designed for practitioners and policy-makers working within the historic environment, landscapes, parks and gardens, in both the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. The programme would also be relevant to recent graduates with an interest in developing a career in the field of historic environment and volunteers or those working in their own communities with a personal interest in the field, offering a sound foundation for further study and research.

The MSt course is taught by face-to-face teaching during 4 intense residential study blocks in Cambridge in the first year of study. This makes this course suitable for overseas students, or to take as part of a programme of professional development.
