Having now checked

So, if I were a
resident of Burton wanting to see what archaeology there was in my area and
with a none too clear idea of admin boundaries, I might type
‘Burton’ into the admin area. It comes up with a lengthy list of

I suggest we just
pretend that's not happening (-;
No, seriously, I
suppose I should have said 'Admin area address' as opposed to 'postal address'.
Indeed, the two can be quite different.
However, anyone
looking Burton-upon-Trent (or any other town) would have to use the other
search box, either Place/Site Name/Street Name or the Map Search, as it's not a
parish or district (or is it?!). That search doesn't display any additional
auto complete as you type - but perhaps it could, and this could be the
(alternate) Royal Mail Address?

Hi Louisa,
Good point, but what
happens when the postal address places a whole town somewhere other than the
admin county?
