I guess this partly confirmed my suspicions. No offence intended, Karan, but:
The one interesting point about this brief discussion on the T&SG list is that persons who come up with - let's call it "non-conformist ideas" believe they are on the brink of revolutionizing science, even though the basis of their claims is either not revealed (as here), or because they are going against all current scientific wisdom.
Yes, there are numerous examples where non-conformist scientific ideas proved to be right (often brilliant ones), but met stern resistance as they were put forward originally. The recent Nobel prize for the work on five-fold crystal symmetry emphasizes the point. However, we cannot turn this argument around and say that every hypothesis that contradicts present scientific common ground indicates some unrecognized genius. That just turns things on their head completely.

I think no one can accuse the list owner of intolerance if this discussion on deep oil is closed.

Cheers,

Juergen

Yes,I am an individual research scientiest only without any technical education but observing it from last 25 years.
According to current understanding kerogen is formed from deceased animals and organic matter from surface.and my experiments shows it is a compound formed by another method (I know it) and fossils had been strucked in this sticky compound only and nothing to produce it.so there is a big gap of basic understanding only.I have observed this compound has direct relation with petroleum and that is the only reason drillers are getting oil near by.
Yes,Pt is also a part of this model

We had previous attempts of people to use the forum to publicize crude ideas. Experiments commonly require a lab. So, where is this lab? I hope it's not someone's kitchen or cellar.
