Hi here it is - http://www.london2012.com/about-us/our-brand/frequently-asked-questions.php
Basically in a nutshell the guidance is, don't use it, or any variant of it... (unless you're an official part of the programme)
How very inclusive...

As an interesting comparison the Queen's Diamond Jubilee have gone the opposite way and relaxed their rules - makes for interesting reading in contrast - http://www.royal.gov.uk/HMTheQueen/TheQueenandspecialanniversaries/TheQueensDiamondJubilee2012/DiamondJubileeNamesandTitles.aspx

Best of luck figuring it all out!

Subject: olympics guidance

Dear Gemmers,

I know this has come up before, but cannot find when or where....   What is the guidance on using the word Olympics in any of our publicity, text panels or whatever?  I know there are restrictions but cannot remember just what they are.

Thanks for any help,
Lisa
