ESRC STUDENTSHIPS IN SOCIAL STATISTICS AT LANCASTER UNIVERSITY, UK Competitive studentships to UK and EU students are available at Lancaster Statistics to undertake an MSc in quantitative methods followed by a PhD in Applied Social Statistics through the ESRC's North West Doctoral Training Centre (NWDTC). These are aimed at students with a social or health background who wish to learn and apply modern statistical methods; or for students who have a mathematical background and want to conduct statistical research with applications in the social sciences.
