Dear Mike,

Probably you might want to exclude heterophilic antibody interference first, using HBT tubes of Scantibodies. Serial dilution might show non-linear dilution pattern indicating some form of interference.

Kind regards,

Subject: CEA > 100

Dear colleagues,

Would you think that a CEA > 100 ng/mL may be caused by a benign disorder ? If so, what should be thought of first ?
Out of memory, I do not recall a single case where we came up with a "benign explanation" of CEA > 100 ng/mL ...

Best regards,

Mike
