Dear All,

The University of Brighton will be hosting the UK - Ireland Planning
Research Conference on 11th to 13th April 2012.

http://www.brighton.ac.uk/prc2012/index.htm

The overall conference theme addresses how economic development, issues
of quality of life and strengthened society can be reconciled.

As in previous years, there will be plenary and track sessions
dedicated to mobility. Therefore, submission of abstracts are welcome
that address the role of transport and mobility planning in stimulating
economic growth, improving quality of life and supporting society.
Papers that evaluate schemes or pilot studies designed to this effect
are welcome, as are papers that consider the links between
transport/mobility and these three issues from a more
theoretical/modelling basis.

A selection of papers from this conference will be published in
forthcoming special issues of the Journal of Urban Regeneration and
Renewal and the Journal of Town and City Management.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15th February 2012.
