Brain

Hi,

The Natbrainlab has developed a new digital atlas of the human brain that you may find helpful for your research.
It is called Brain and is for Ipad only.

This application enables an interactive visualization of the brain in 3D and a deep understanding of brain functions and its disorders. The application displays anatomical features of the human brain derived from virtual dissections, sectional, connectional dissections, and in vivo MRI scans. A unique feature of this atlas is the ability to display connections and complex networks of the brain derived from Tractography together with the classical divisions of its surface into Hemispheres, Gyri and Brodmann areas.

Special features

*Capitalises on the latest imaging technology, to provide a unique atlas of the brain that helps understanding cognition and behaviour - the first of its kind

*Full of stunning colour illustrations, helping the reader to appreciate how the various brain regions communicate

*Plenty of textual information on brain function and disorders is provided together with latest key scientific references

*Illustrates networks underlying language, emotions, social behavior, visuo-spatial processing, vision, movement, memory and consciousness.

*The app is entirely interactive: you can rotate the brain, zoom in and out, select single Brodmann areas or gyri and understand how they interconnect.

*Explains the anatomy of most common disorders including autism, schizophrenia, depression, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
