Dear SPM list, here is a response from an engeneer that could interest some of you regarding the question I had : "Hello, Generally the order of the cuts in the field is incremented InstanceNumber. This number must be unique in the series belongs to the image. Also, the unique identifier of the image / body (SOPInstanceUID) consists of a sequence of numbers separated by a period (.) Should see its latest digital component incremented in the order of image generation, and therefore, in the order of the cuts. It may be that some manufacturers use proprietary fields in order to manage the order of the sections specifically."
