It seems that your covariates are collinear when you have that many. How many subjects do you have? What is the correlations between your covariates.

Can you combine two regressors to get another (e.g. 2*A+3*B=4*C) where A, B, and C are regressors.

Dear all,

 I have a problem with SPM8:

I would like to use Multiple Regression for PET data with more than 4 covariates.

When using Multiple Regression of SPM for PET data with 4 covariates, the Design Matrix shows ‘’b not uniquely specification” in the parameter estimability at t2nd, 3rd and 4th column other than the first column. Therefore when defining 2nd, 3rd and 4th column at the SPM contrast manager, it shows the error message.

Whereas with 3 covariates, all column are activate and can be defined with SPM contrast manager.

Please could you help me to resolve this problem?

Best regards.
