The call for session and poster submissions for the 2012 HEA Annual Conference, taking place 3-4 July 2012 at The University of Manchester is now open.
The title for the 8th Annual Conference is Great Expectations: Are you ready? In a system that puts students at its heart, their expectations of their course, institution and learning experience are rising. Staff and institutions have their own aims and expectations too. In the year of the London Olympics competitors have expectations of winning and are preparing to be ready for the challenge we apply the theme to the higher education sector and explore its implications for 2012.
There are three main conference strands:
student expectations and the learning experience;
supporting staff to deliver student learning experiences of a lifetime;
institutional adaptability.
