Just to say: you don't necessarily need a separate computer to play with Linux. Using VirtualBox, you can run Ubuntu inside a window on Windows (if you see what I mean). Not like the old* days, when I had to manually repartition my hard disk in order to get a dual boot into Red Hat 5... Dominic * not actually that old
