Although not what you are after - the reynauds and scleroderma association sell "silver based" thermal socks which are light weight, thin and if necessary could have another pair added - they are very warm and have minimal elastic so don't restrict circulation either.

He is Working in the Heavy Steal Industry – With a Significant amount of outside work.

 

During consultation he was complaining of severely cold feet with sensation loss.

 

I am trying to source better (warmer) toe protecting footwear,

 

I have heard of plastic (rather than steal) inserts into safety shoes – but know nothing of them.

 

Obviously I have referred him to his diabetic specialist to check for other pathology.

 

Your thoughts / advice would be gratefully appreciated.
